1. Is an exam mandatory? Can I be issued a certificate based on my elaborate experience the respective field I have applied for?
If you have a lot of work experience, you may opt for the Fast track mode as you just need to brush up your lessons a bit before you take up the online exam. A fresher; some one who needs a lot of study and preparation may go for the regular mode wherein they prepare according to the study materials provided at their own pace before they take up the test. But the exam is mandatory in all cases.
2. Is BTEC approved by AICTE?
BTEC is approved by the department of Technical education, Government of Kerala, India .Hence AICTE approval is not insisted.
3. How soon can I complete the course?
Fast Track courses can be completed in a week’s time where as courses undergone by regular mode would take specific time period say 3-6 months or 1 year etc depending upon how fast the student can prepare for the same.
4.Is the certificate valid in countries other than India?
Yes, courses from BTEC have helped many persons to secure jobs in the private sector in India and abroad and also in the Government sectors in some countries. The on campus regular government courses are
approved by Indian government and embassy .
In the case of online course, Certain
embassies do approve whereas in some cases
there could be stringent procedures to
